How CampRight Works

Eligible camp sessions must be a minimum of three weeks.
A “first-time camper” is defined as a camper who has not previously spent more than two consecutive weeks as an overnight camper at a CampRight Camp.
The applicant must reside in the service area of UJA Federation of Greater Toronto and be in a Grade 2-7 class for the 2007-08 school year.Map of GTA
This grant is not based on financial need. The grant is available whether or not the camper or camper’s family has received other scholarships or financial aid. Multiple campers (siblings) from a single family are eligible to receive separate grants.

Applicants must also apply directly to the camp of their choosing. The submission of a CampRight application does not guarantee acceptance to the camp of one’s choosing. Camp space is limited; grants are subject to availability.

For the 2008 pilot summer, there are a limited number of grants available per camp. Applications will be considered promptly and applicants will be informed of their grant approval upon confirmation of their camp enrollment and having met the eligibility requirements. UJA Federation will make grant payments toward camp costs directly to the applicable Jewish camp.
